The 4A Stepper Phidget (STC1005_0) is a compact yet high-performance stepper motor controller designed to deliver up to 4A of continuous current per phase to a single bipolar stepper motor. Operating on a 10–30V DC external supply, it provides smooth and precise motion control through 1/16 microstepping.
The controller features two distinct operating modes: Step Mode, where users specify a Target Position along with Acceleration and Velocity limits, and Run Mode, which allows continuous rotation in either direction while strictly adhering to set motion parameters. Built-in electrical isolation and advanced circuit protections ensure system protection in demanding motion control setups.

Note: The 4A Stepper Phidget must be connected to a VINT Hub Phidget to function. External DC power supply and VINT cables are sold separately.
