The Rotary Encoder - For 4mm Motor Shaft 300 CPR (3531_0) is a compact, economical optical quadrature encoder designed to mount directly onto the 4 mm rear shaft of stepper motors.
This encoder allows you to accurately measure motor position and detect lost steps even when a motor missteps under heavy loads. Installation is straightforward: fit it over the shaft, align it with the motor's mounting pattern, secure the screws, and tighten the set-screw.
